Printable Recipe

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 lb boneless beef sirloin, trimmed of fat, cut into thin bite-size strips
1 medium green bell pepper, cut into strips
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 medium onion, sliced
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
2 cups water
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 beef bouillon cubes (I used Herb-Ox)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add beef; cook and stir about 5 minutes or until browned.
Add remaining ingredients to pan.  Stir to combine.  Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10-15 minutes or until vegetables are tender and sauce has reduced and thickened. 

Serve over rice if desired.

Serves 4
