Printable Recipe

1½-2 lb flank steak

MARINATE:
½ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 cloves minced garlic
2 teaspoons honey

Place flank steak in a seal-able plastic bag or shallow baking dish. Combine marinate ingredients in a small bowl.  Pour marinate over steak.  Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight, turning the steak occasionally.  Remove steak from marinate.  Discard marinate.
Grill or broil 6 inches from heat, turning once, 8 minutes for medium rare or until desired doneness. Thinly slice diagonally across the grain.

Serves 4.
